The Board of Directors of Interconexión Eléctrica S.A (ISA) began the process to search for a new CEO for the Company, who will be the successor of Bernardo Vargas Gibsone.
Through a relevant information announcement in the Superintendence, the Company announced its request to the Organizational Talent Committee to begin the process.
According to the Company’s Corporate Bylaws, the new CEO must be elected by the Board of Directors by means of a selection process carried out by said Committee.
This process will also have the assistance of a company specialized in selecting and hiring executives. “The search and retention of the headhunting firm is the start of the process for the succession for ISA’s CEO”, informed the Company.
Bernardo Vargas announced his decision to leave the Company last Friday August 27, after more than six years of acting as the Group’s CEO, and weeks after the announcement of Ecopetrol’s acquisition of ISA.
