- This recognition was awarded by the Sustainable Leaders Agenda, ALAS20, in its 2024 edition, for its outstanding management and disclosure practices on environmental, social, and economic issues.
- The recognition ratifies ISA’s world-class practices in sustainability and corporate governance.
ALAS20, Sustainable Leaders Agenda, is an initiative that seeks to promote sustainable development in Latin America and Spain. To this end, they carry out an evaluation, rating, and recognition of excellence in public disclosure of actions in the field of sustainable development and responsible investment of companies and investors in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, and Peru.
ISA was recognized in ALAS20 in the category, Leading Company in Sustainability, in its 2024 edition, after a technical evaluation process in which the company’s environmental, social, and economic (ESG) practices were assessed. The seal also highlighted the company’s social programs, its relationship with stakeholders, its involvement in integrating the main concerns of its stakeholders, and its risk management and value creation in favor of sustainable development.
“At ISA we are convinced that companies are viable only if the environment is viable. In this sense, we have a clear commitment to community development and climate change mitigation, with actions that go beyond what the law dictates. This recognition confirms that we are on the right path and excites us because it allows us to continue inspiring others for the benefit of territories with greater development and progress,” stated Gabriel Melguizo Posada, ISA’s interim CEO.
This is the sixth recognition that ISA and its companies have received from ALAS20 (2015, 2016, 2017, 2022 and 2023). Previously, ISA has won in the ALAS20 Colombia Company, Investor Relations, Sustainable Leader, and Corporate Governance categories.
