ISA and its companies obtained the bronze medal awarded by the S&P Global Sustainability Yearbook, placing it in the 10% rank, as one of the most sustainable companies within its industry, with a score of 84/100, thus occupying 12th place in the ranking of electric power utilities in the world.
● The company is among the five most sustainable companies in the sector in Latin America and among the 12 most sustainable electric utilities in the world.
● With a score of 84/100, ISA is the only Colombian company in the energy sector to enter the yearbook.
● This is the second bronze medal awarded to ISA.
For the seventh consecutive year ISA entered the yearbook and, this time, became the only company in the energy sector in Colombia to receive this important recognition, which takes into account the work of the companies according to the criteria, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), which it has been working and promoting through its voluntary and mandatory programs that positively impact the environment and generate development and progress.
“We are proud to be among the five companies in the sector in Latin America and among the 12 with the best sustainable practices in the world. It is the recognition of our conviction and work in each of the pillars that support our Green strategy, Innovation, Development and Articulation. The positive impact on the planet, as well as the development and progress of the regions, continues to be recognized by the great prescribers of the world, which generates a greater commitment to continue on the path we have traced,” said Juliana Suso, Vice President of Institutional Relations.
For this edition, more than 7,800 companies were evaluated, of which 708 were ranked based on their overall scores, following a rigorous Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA). The Global Sustainability Yearbook is part of the S&P family of indexes, measurements that for the past 24 years have become the world’s leading corporate sustainability database, where thousands of companies position their actions, and in turn guarantee the high standard of this ranking.
